Wouldn’t it be nice to never use a key to access your home? By simple installing a smart lockset or deadbolt you can. Do you ever accidentally leave doors unlocked when you go to bed at night or leave the home? That won’t happen anymore. Do you want to know when your child gets home from school or ball practice? And that he or she is safe? We do this all with simple programming. If you arm to the “away” setting, the door will lock after you leave and the exit delay counts down (usually 60 seconds). Then when you or your kids come home, use the keyfob, the lighted keypad, or your smartphone to gain access to the house. And then once you are inside for the night and arm to “stay” mode, the door will lock immediately. And if you ever want to know who has entered, that audit trail is available at any time. Oh, and you are running late and your guest has arrived, just unlock remotely. Also, no more rekeying is necessary. If you have a person that you no longer want entering the house, then just log into the cloud and delete their code. And because this is an integrated solution, we set up the smartlock codes so they are the same 4-digit PIN as used in the alarm system. Plus this reduces the potential for false alarms and the fines involved. Now, when you gain access and unlock the door, the alarm is simultaneously disarmed. Pretty safe and simple and the options are almost endless.
